Annual Conference - 2013

ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT SOCIETY OF SOUTHERN AFRICA

This is an invitation to participate in the annual NTSSA Conference, hosted by the University of South Africa (Pretoria) from 10-13 September, organised by the Gender Group enquiring the theme: “Interconnecting Discourses: Gender, Bible, Publics.” In order to convenience your decision whether you would like to participate we have provided with both an abstract and a critical framework within which we hope to present the conference. The critical framework should not be seen as compulsory or determinative, but rather as providing with broad outlines guiding the interrogation of the Conference theme. If for any reason, you would like to approach the theme from a different angle or perspective, please do not hesitate to send in a title and brief abstract.
